Indiana Federal Surplus and State Surplus are two separate
agencies with the same goal in mind, to assist the State of
Indiana by supplying surplus property to eligible organizations
and agencies. This relieves the burden placed on the taxpayer.
The Division of Surplus Property is responsible for the disposal
of state and federal surplus personal property. The Division has
two locations, one on Barrett Avenue in Frankfort and another in
Madisonville.

The Maryland State Agency for Surplus Property (MSASP), a
division of the Maryland Department of General Services, is the
Agency responsible for the receipt and re-distribution of
Federal and State surplus property for the State of Maryland.
The Surplus Property Program (SSP) maximizes the benefits from
all property purchased by the state's departments.
The Mississippi Office of Surplus Property was organized in
March of 1946, with the authority to acquire surplus goods from
the Federal Government. Once property has been declared as
excess to the needs of the Federal Government, the highest and
best utilization of that property is by public and private
organizations of the State of Mississippi who are dedicated to
the education, training, health, civil protection, safety,
administration, and other public benefits of our taxpayers.
